complexpbr Shadow Casting Point Light Demo

This is the official page for the complexpbr Shadow Casting Point Light Demo! Thank you for your consideration in supporting advanced Panda3D development efforts.

This long-awaited engine feature is now available in the form of a straightforward, easy-to-use, and highly performant demo program. Although Panda3D does not natively support shadow casting PointLights, this demo includes a convenient self-contained file to implement such an effect using only built-in engine components and complexpbr!

The demo program includes all the models and code needed to run and experiment with the new engine features. Make sure to pip install panda3d-complexpbr to ensure you have the latest features. 

As a bonus, the program also demonstrates how to use Soft Shadows, an equally advanced new complexpbr feature as of version 0.6.8!
