Sandastray

Windy Surfer is a hard working sailboarder who is employed by a giant catamaran city to scout out and discover resource rich areas in their desolate dune world. Long ago, all plant life was extinguished from Windy Surfer's planet, along with all of sedentary civilization. The only survivors who remain are the dune-crawlers, who live in and maintain continuously moving paddle wheel catamarans to prevent sinking into the quicksand and to shelter them from the extremely harsh environment.

Sandastray is a physics based windsurfing sandbox where your goal is to collect floating coins to mark resource collection areas for your dune-crawling city ship.

This project was built in just 2 weeks during the first 2022 Panda3D Game Jam.
